CHALLENGE

NOMMA was an organization in need of rejuvenation, as its website was outdated, participation in the annual meeting was low and membership was in decline. Our goal was to create a solution that would gain NOMMA new members and appeal to a wider audience, all while remaining sensitive to the longtime existing metal fabricator community.

SOLUTION

  • Develop a new logo that emphasizes professionalism, craftsmanship, innovation and strength
  • Produce a brand standard guide to sustain NOMMA’s integrity and tightknit culture
  • Launch a website refresh at the same time as the new logo
  • Work with the current website vendor to update the website template, ensure responsive design and create consistency with new brand colors
  • Assemble a task force to reorganize the website navigation from a member’s perspective and review the educational content
  • Effectively communicate the rebranding initiative by embracing transparency and using multiple channels to communicate messages
  • Drive members – both longtime and new – to the new website and social media channels
